About the event

Community picnic, bring your own food and drink and join to celebrate bastille day!

Bastille Day, celebrated on July 14th, is France’s national holiday, marking the storming of the Bastille in 1789, a key event in the French Revolution. Across the country, cities are adorned with tricolour flags, and the day is filled with patriotic festivities. In Paris, the celebration begins with a grand military parade on the Champs-Élysées, attended by the President. As evening falls, fireworks light up the skies, particularly around iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. People gather for lively street parties and "bals des pompiers" (firemen's balls), enjoying music, dancing, and a shared sense of national pride.

This event is free to access for all, donation will be accepted on site!
