Vizille: un château et une révolution

A thousand years of history and more or less radical transformations were needed to shape the château that overlooks Vizille, south of Grenoble. A few events and figures, such as the Duke of Lesdiguières, were enough to make it a symbol of the history of the Dauphiné. And a single day granted it the distinction of being central to the history of France. Once the residence of French presidents, it is now a memorial to the French Revolution, where visitors can stroll through the pathways of history while also discovering a park worthy of its name.
